GEHA Solutions invests in oral health equity with The Giving Grove and Veterans Community Project

GEHA | December 23, 2023

With a focus on health equity, our employees are able to support local and national nonprofits that are creating tangible change in communities in which we live and serve.

Showing our gratitude in action! GEHA Solutions has happily donated $5,000 on behalf of their valued clients to The Giving Grove and Veterans Community Project. Our commitment to the community extends beyond our services.

Both national nonprofits are addressing food and shelter insecurities with the help of community partners like GEHA Solutions. The Giving Grove plants orchards and community gardens in neighborhoods where it will make the most impact. Veterans Community Project is known for creating the Veterans Village, a collection of tiny, transitional homes to aid homeless veterans. United in purpose, they transform lives by connecting veterans and community members to vital resources including dental care.

In our journey to improve oral health, GEHA Solutions (GSI) and GEHA Connection Dental Network find purposeful partnerships with these two outstanding national nonprofits. In addition to providing funds, GEHA Solutions team members have participated in several volunteer efforts with both organizations. Says Jenna Mills, VP GSI, “Volunteering has given us great new insights into these organization's needs, and we are committed to collaboration with The Giving Grove and Veterans Community Project to address inequities in food and housing security.”

By stepping forward with this contribution, we aim to amplify the essential work done by the dedicated teams at GEHA Solutions, The Giving Grove and Veterans Community Project. There is a vital link between oral and mental wellness, especially for our most vulnerable community members and brave veterans. Together with The Giving Grove and Veterans Community Project, GEHA Solutions partnership serves the health and well-being of our community members in new and innovative ways.
